North
Cliff Golf Club, rated by many as the finest course on the coast, is situated 2 miles north of Scarborough,
North Yorkshire, on the coastal road to Whitby. Although
mainly a parkland course, it does have a cliff top start
and finish. Stunning views of both the North Bay and Castle
make this James Braid designed course both a delight and
a challenge to play at any time of the year. |

club currently has vacancies for all classes of membership,
so if you are looking to join a friendly Club with great
facilities at a reasonable price, then we would love to
hear from you.

the other hand if you are simply looking to take a short
golfing break or perhaps just to play one round of golf,
then North Cliff is the perfect venue.
At
6493 yards with a SSS 72 North Cliff is testing for the
low handicap player, yet is enjoyable for the mid to

club has a resident professional with a well-stocked shop
and full catering and bar facilities to make your day complete.
| MEMBERS NOTICE: The 2010 diaries are late down to "delays at
printers". This is frustrating given the amount of time the fixture and
member information has been available to them. Efforts are being made to
expedite the delivery but, in the meantime, below is a link to a copy of the fixture
list for the year ahead. At least you can do a bit of planning using these. |

Winter period
1st Jan to 31st Mar and
1 Nov to 31 Dec: Weekdays - £25 per day
Weekends and Public Holidays £30 per day
Winter Mats – 2009/2010 ( From Friday, 13th November )
The use of mats is COMPULSORY for all fairway shots.
As an alternative to using mats, players may pick up and place their ball (not nearer the hole) in the nearest semi-rough at least 2 metres from the edge of the fairway.
Players are NOT permitted to use a tee peg as a substitute for a mat when playing from the fairway.
Divots removed when playing from the rough MUST BE REPLACED.

Rates as shown above. Visitor playing with member - half appropriate fee.
Visiting junior - half appropriate fee. Visiting junior with member quarter appropriate
fee. 
2-Fore-1 vouchers are restricted to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday.
Payment of green fees can be made by
cheque or cash.

by credit card.
