This weekend North Cliff Golf Club played a major competition that was not only one of the most prestigious competitions to win in the club’s calendar but, this year, attracted a significant sponsor in the form of local window designer and manufacturer SWC Trade Frames of Plaxton Park, Eastfield.

The competition ran all day in a pairs format and attracted a large entry of well over a 100 golfers  with the prize giving in the clubhouse on the night which, again, was well attended by many competitors.

The winners of the Ladies section were Jenny Swift and Clare Ellard with a net 70. In third place in the Gentlemens section were  Nigel Fell and Nigel Pickard with a net 64, second place Paul Richings and Mike Moore with a net 63 but the overall winners of the day and the Bright Cup were Danny Taylor and Luke Jenkinson with a fantastic net 62.”
